CalvLab (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides a mobile application focused on calf training, measurement tracking, and progress tools. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use CalvLab, we may process:
- Profile information you enter in the app, such as name, goals, equipment preferences, and training setup.
- Measurement and workout data, including calf circumference logs, workout sessions, program choices, and progress photos you choose to capture.
- Purchase and subscription information related to CalvLab Pro. Payments are processed by Apple or Google; we do not receive your full payment card details.
- Device and app information such as device type, operating system, app version, and diagnostic data needed to keep the app reliable.
- Support communications if you contact us by email.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide and personalize your training, tracking, and progress features
- Restore purchases and manage CalvLab Pro access
- Send optional reminders you enable (for example measurement or trial reminders)
- Respond to support requests
- Improve reliability, security, and product quality
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Local storage on your device
Much of your CalvLab data — including profile details, measurements, workouts, and photos — is stored locally on your device. If you delete the app or use the in-app reset option, that local data may be permanently removed from the device.
4. Photos and camera access
If you use photo transformation features, CalvLab may request camera access so you can capture Day 1 and milestone calf photos for local progress comparison. Photos remain under your control on your device unless you choose to share them yourself.
5. Notifications
With your permission, CalvLab may send local reminders related to measurements or trial status. You can turn notifications off in the app or in your device settings at any time.
6. Third-party services
We may use trusted third parties to operate the app and website, such as Apple App Store / Google Play for subscriptions and hosting providers for this website. These providers process data only as needed to deliver their services and under their own privacy terms.
7. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only when needed to provide the service, comply with law, protect rights and safety, or with your direction (for example if you share a progress image yourself).
8. Data retention
Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, reset the app, or uninstall CalvLab. Support emails and operational records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected or as required by law.
9. Children’s privacy
CalvLab is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Your choices
- Update or delete profile and tracking data in the app
- Disable notifications in app or system settings
- Manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple or Google
- Contact us to ask questions about this policy
11. International users
If you access CalvLab from outside the country where we operate, your information may be processed in locations with different data protection laws. We take reasonable steps to handle information responsibly.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of CalvLab after an update means you accept the revised policy.
