Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CalvLab mobile application and website (together, the “Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using CalvLab, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
CalvLab is a fitness-focused application that helps users train calves, log measurements, and track progress. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use unless we agree otherwise in writing.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use CalvLab. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
3. Health & fitness disclaimer
CalvLab provides general fitness information and training tools. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning a new exercise program, especially if you have injuries, pain, or medical conditions. You use training guidance and the app at your own risk.
4. Your account and device data
You are responsible for the information you enter and for keeping your device secure. Because much of your CalvLab content is stored locally, losing access to your device or resetting the app may result in loss of local data. We are not responsible for data lost from device actions, uninstalls, or resets you initiate.
5. Subscriptions and purchases
- CalvLab may offer free features and paid CalvLab Pro subscriptions.
- Paid plans, free trials, pricing, and billing are handled through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled according to the store’s cancellation rules before the renewal date.
- Refunds, where available, are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misuse, reverse engineer, or attempt to disrupt the Service
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
- Copy, redistribute, or exploit CalvLab content except as allowed by law or with our permission
- Interfere with other users’ enjoyment of the Service
7. Intellectual property
CalvLab, including its name, logo, design, text, graphics, software, and other materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of any rights to you.
8. User content
You retain rights to content you create in the app, such as measurements and photos. By using sharing features, you are responsible for what you choose to export or share outside the app.
9. Third-party services
The Service may rely on third-party platforms (for example Apple, Google, or hosting providers). Your use of those platforms is also subject to their terms and policies.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that results from training will meet your expectations.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CalvLab and its owners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for CalvLab Pro in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $50 if you have not paid us.
12. Termination
You may stop using CalvLab at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. The sections that by nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
13. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your place of residence and our place of operation, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections apply.
